Types Of Cardboard Sleeves Packaging

In general when we think of Cardboard Sleeves Packaging we just tend to think of cardboard boxes. However it is used in far more forms than just simple brown boxes. It is used in some drinks cartons, as well as fast food takeaway boxes, and storing bulky food items such as crisp packets at their point of sale.

Many manufacturers or parcel distributors are looking at ways cardboard packaging can be used to replace plastic containers, which it is estimated may take over three thousand years to breakdown once buried in the ground. They are under pressure to go "Green" and increase the different amount of ways that they can use cardboard packaging to do this, because of its environmentally friendly nature.

It is totally recyclable, and is often re-used by companies or people at home that have received goods in it. Everyone has a spare cardboard box with something stored in it somewhere in their house do they not? If you sell things at online auction sites, then you will often find yourself re-using it

Cardboard can be made into tubes for transporting documents or delicate goods, that would otherwise be hard to send by post.

It can also be made into a corrugated form to be used as a packing material. The corrugated form is also made in to thick panels in some countries as insulation.

A major use of it is very thick boxes for shipping goods abroad for export, as it is very strong as well as durable, and can be made water resistant.

It can be within reason, built in nearly any shape and thickness to suit a multitude of uses.
